This picture book came out last year, but it’s such a delightful story that’s perfect for summertime reading. Captain Swashby likes his quiet, peaceful life, and his new neighbors are disrupting his solitude. But the sea has always been his best friend, and now it knows exactly what he needs and how to help him get it. I love this heartwarming and funny story that shows what we think we want isn’t always what we need.
