The theme for the summer reading program this year is FEED YOUR PASSIONS. What do your kids get really excited about? What would they like to try, or learn to do? Summer is a great time to experiment, explore, and spend time doing whatever makes us happy.
Each week this summer, we’ll be focusing on a theme that many kids enjoy. They are food, sports, animals, science, travel, creating, and adventure. You’ll find book recommendations, displays, badges, and activities geared toward each theme.
Since reading and sharing middle grade fiction is my passion, I’ll be giving away one of my books that represents the theme each week. There will be a trivia question for kids to answer, and their name will be entered into a draw to be made each Friday afternoon.
